Join the Race Against Abuse of Children Everywhere!
Child sexual abuse does not discriminate. It preys on boys as well as girls. Its victims come in all shapes, sizes and shades. It picks on the wealthy as well as the poor. It lives everywhere and amongst us all, and has cast its shadow over 39 million survivors.
U Have the Power to Prevent ABUSE!
Whether you’re a parent, a grandparent, an aunt or uncle, a sibling or cousin, you have the power to prevent abuse. As a teacher, coach or other child-serving adult, you have the power to prevent abuse. Even if you are a teenager — still a “child” in some people’s eyes — you too have the power to prevent abuse.
You see, we all have the power. But we need to have the courage to tap into it and take a stand. Some of us might be ready to shout from the rooftops and enlist others to join the RAACE movement, while others may prefer to start off gradually and show their support in more modest ways. We understand that, and that’s why we’ve created seven different but complementary ways to get involved. While the RAACE to eradicate child sexual abuse has no finish line, we make it easy for you to go at your own speed.
Take a look at the opportunities for involvement, choose the one that best describes you, and you’ll be that much closer to earning your RAACE badge.
